In the vast, clinical space that is the pharmaceutical and skin care industry, our client Ego Pharmaceuticals wanted to provide consumers with something more than an eCommerce site for one of their brands, SolvEasy. How can a company distinguish themselves from the many brands out there? It goes without saying, pharmaceutical companies tend to have a low level of trust amongst consumers (think used-car salesmen, real estate agents; you get the idea). Ego’s vision was to create an educational resource, which would help consumers navigate a fairly ‘un-sexy’ topic; fungal conditions, like Tinea and Jock Itch.
To bring the vision to life, we developed a separate website for SolvEasy’s Antifungal Guide. The purpose of the website is to be a valuable source of information on antifungal conditions, specifically for their treatment and prevention. It’s something that people may not want to ask about when they visit a pharmacy, so by providing this bank of information, consumers can privately and easily surf the myriad of quality, trusted information provided by Ego.
We designed the website so that it is easily identifiable as a branch of Ego Pharmaceuticals, yet maintains its distinguishing SolvEasy traits. We developed the site through WordPress, so the client could easily update content and make changes after the launch. It is aligned with the existing eCommerce store and products are linked throughout articles, so that consumers can simply continue on a path to purchase upon reviewing the information available.
We’re ‘big picture’ thinkers, so following the design and launch of the Antifungal Guide, we formed an ongoing SEO strategy and digital advertising strategy to help drive both paid and organic traffic to the website. It’s a combination of all these elements that keep Ego’s digital ecosystem thriving.
The design and development for this site was all completed in house, just like all of our other services. If you’re looking to expand your digital presence and establish a website that brings an educational piece to your commercial product, get in touch with us.
