Gateway KSA is an NGO that invites exceptional students from the world’s top universities to participate in small group tours of Saudi Arabia. Successful students from universities such as Harvard and London Business School, spend nine days exploring Saudi Arabia. They get to visit archaeological sites, to cutting-edge science and research facilities. Participants get to interact with both Saudis and local internationals, discussing everything from the day-to-day life in Saudi Arabia, to business, science and cultural norms.
Gateway KSA engaged the team at AndMine to redesign and develop their WordPress website. Our aim was to create a seamless application process for students. Previously, students had to email their application to Gateway KSA. It was a time-consuming process for the small team to review all of the applications, follow up, and make travel arrangements.
To create a more sophisticated look and feel for Gateway KSA, AndMine’s Design Team adjusted the brand’s colour palette. The site uses two rich colours – a darker shade of blue and a creamy gold.
The old website was characterised by a one-page scroll format. AndMine wanted to better showcase all of the beautiful photography and video content. We chose an animated split screen layout to better highlight this.
