And when do Chatbots actually work well? How do you go about Testing Chatbots ? Firstly, you HAVE to understand the Turning Test (if you haven’t heard of Alan Turing go watch The Imitation Game staring Benedict Cumberbatch – incredible then lookup one of his greatest legacy ideas – the “Turing Test“); which is essential for Chatbot usage.
Basically the test sets the ideal benchmark for actually Testing Chatbots – If you install a Chatbot badly, someone will break it in a few seconds (asking a dumb question and getting an even worse answer). But a well-done bot means that you can’t tell if you’re talking to a human or not. That’s the essence of the Turing Test. We don’t build Chatbots for clients unless we are confident that there is enough quality content and interaction to pass a few minutes of Turing Test – then, of course, you can always hand the Chatbot chat over to an actual human (by saying you’re “getting the human” or getting “someone smarter in the company to answer that question.”)
We recommend Oracle’s Chatbot services and will work with their technology team to install and build content we’ve developed for your Chatbot – the ideal Chatbot with outcomes that pass the “Am I talking to a Robot Test”. Oracle are leading the space for AI Chatbots and we can ensure robust installations with them which simulate and replace either part off, or all of a team member (or preferably free team members up to do more productive and valuable tasks in your organisation).
Our services Testing Chatbots, including testing pre or post development based on a comprehensive understanding of the commercial, coding and AI characteristics of this subset to your digital ecosystem.
