Epod Dfence Website design

Dfence is a Melbourne based startup that focuses on safety. Their main product Dfence Epod is a home safety pod that contains residential emergency supplies. The team behind Dfence had a common goal: to help save lives through innovation. If there is an emergency and you have an Epod in your home, you are no longer a helpless victim.

EPod Kit

With the Epod kit you can take action to save your own life and your loved ones.

The challenge the client brought to us was to showcase their product, the EPod kit, which happened to be enclosed inside a case. Although the pod is designed with aesthetics, portability and functionality in mind, it was hard for the customers to fully understand the product. The &Mine‘s team put our heads together and decided to create a moving 3D image of the Epod kit.

The 3D image allows the user to click on the case and see what was inside. Once opened, users can click on each individual item and the information about the product pops up. With the intuitive 3D design, users can easily see and interact with the items inside the Epod box. This feature simplifies the purchase journey for users.

Fire Extinguisher

We simplified the check out process to make an enjoyable and easy website experience which contributed to the conversion rate optimisation.

Our approach aligns with a digital inventory system. We configured a system where product stock is synchronised with orders. With this client the customised eCommerce website was different from many other eCommerce platforms, in this case we are selling a single product. Conversion rate optimisation was achieved through a custom functionality affiliate program that also helped drive data and results. We also improved the functionality around discount deal in terms of volume discount. Once we optimised the website, we then set up Google Merchant to enable Google Shopping Ads.

In this case study we improved their online user experience as well as the back end structure and strategy.

eCommerce and Website Optimisation – dFence ePOD – Case Study is only a part of digital. Nothing online sits in a silo anymore. To avoid costly mistakes AndMine’s gives direct and honest answers before we quote. Our in house team delivers all our digital agency services with speed and quality. Basically, If it is digital, we do it. Go on, test us.
